A stabbing incident at a Walmart near Traverse City, Michigan, left at least 11 people injured on Saturday afternoon, according to Michigan State Police. Authorities have confirmed that the suspect has been taken into custody.
All the injured victims are currently receiving treatment at Munson Medical Centre in Traverse City. Megan Brown, Chief Communications Officer for Munson Healthcare, said the hospital was still assessing the severity of the injuries, though no specific details were released.
Michigan State Police stated that the suspect was apprehended shortly after 6 PM (local time), and an investigation is underway.
